TOPPING the charts with a number one hit is going to be no problem for Leyland girl band Kindred, who are already taking audiences by storm.
You've heard the Spice Girls now check out the girls of Kindred - one of the hottest bands around.
With their great looks, fantastic vocals and lively stage presence Debbie, Mandy and Tracy, pictured, are destined to go far.
Since getting together last year the girls have been busy perfecting their performance in front of packed crowds and have brought the house down at various local night spots. Now the trio are rehearsing all their numbers in time for their official launch on Friday, August 27, at 8pm, when they will be performing at Wymott and Garth Prison Officers Club, near Leyland.
Their sell-out show follows an appearance in the talent show Search For A Star, in Southport this week, after winning through with the classic Eurythmics song Sweet Dreams.
The 1980s hit balled is just one of the songs the girls love to perform, others include, Spice Girls tracks, acclaimed Beatles hits and a full range of 1960s classics.
While a lot of the tracks are older than the girls themselves the songs are given a fresh lease of life under the control of Kindred and are enough to make the youngest reveller rock and roll.
So watch out folks - the girls are here and raring to go!
