ST ANNES IV scraped a fortunate draw against lowly opposition Postal in their Fylde League division 2 game thanks mostly to the most resolute of knocks from young opener Paul McCabe (57).
Apart from Matthew Wand and Adam Duxbury there was little else of note.
Wand had earlier bowled well for a deserved 4-28.
St Annes dropped catches and looked out of sorts, but Nigel Connolly, Mick Auty and Dave Gamble all bowled well, without luck.
Postal finished on 117, with St Annes on 112-9.
