CARNFORTH'S new look police station opened its doors to the public this week. Their new look is intended to make the police station a friendlier environment for the public. A phone line has also been installed to contact the police when the station is closed. While welcoming the development, County Cllr Dave Wood, argued that despite the new facilities, understaffing is still plaguing the station. He said "I hope they are going to provide the troops to man the post."
