POLICE have issued a warning following a theft of drugs and a substantial amount of jewellery from a house in Bluebell Avenue, Haydock, between 10.30am and noon on Wednesday, August 4.
The stolen jewellery included rings, bracelets and lockets made from gold, white gold and platinum. Some of the lockets and bracelets had the words 'diabetic insulin dependant' etched on them
A large quantity of Merellin tablets, used by diabetics, were also stolen, along with a number of syringes. A police spokesman said that the tablets could be dangerous.
