FRESH from his stunning success in the Ulster Rally, Neil Simpson heads back to Ireland this weekend for the invitation-only Lurgan Park Rally.
Simpson and co-driver Michael Gibson will pit their Volkswagen Golf TDi against some of the toughest opposition to be found in the UK and Eire.
"We'll be giving it everything. The car is in top form and so are we," said the Colne driver.
"I expect the competition to be tough, I've never contested the Lurgan Park before and it's a great honour to be invited."
The pair will be up against the former British Champion Gywndaf Evans, driving a SEAT Cordoba WRC, and the Subaru Impreza of multiple Irish Tarmac Champion Bertie Fisher.
