BRADFORD City chairman Geoffrey Richmond claimed today that talks had restarted with Blackburn Rovers over striker Robbie Blake.
And, in a surprise move, Leicester City have also appeared on the scene and asked to be kept informed of any developments.
Speculation in the national Press today suggested Rovers had already increased their offer to Bradford after having a £2.5 million package rejected.
But Ewood chief executive John Williams said today: "We have not had a further conversation and have definitely not upped our offer."
He would not rule out, however, the possibility of their interest in the transfer-listed striker being re-ignited.
Rovers are currently considering Kevin Gallacher's situation - he is out of contract next summer.
Depending on that decision, they could yet move in again for Blake.
Rovers' games against Bolton (home, Aug 30) and Swindon (away, Sep 4) have, as expected, been called off because of international call-ups. New dates will be announced shortly.
