A Burnley punter has placed a £1,000 bet on under pressure manager Ruud Gullit leaving Newcastle United.
The "away the lad'' bet was put on at the William Hill bookmaker's shop.
Newcastle are bottom of the Premiership after three games without a point. Odds on Gullit leaving have been slashed from a pre-season 4/1 to 6/4.
William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe said Gullit was now by far the most popular selection from their list of odds for managers to leave their clubs.
