SIXTY workers at a furniture firm were sent home and claimed they were left without wages.
The employees at Whitecort Industries plants at Darwen and Clayton-le-Moors said they were told to go home because the firm might be going into receivership.
The firm made tubular steel office furniture, including about two million chairs a year.
