A GROUP of 26 people, mostly adults, from Bury's German twin town of Schorndorf, will be here from September 2 to 6. They will be looked after by Bury Metro Community Twinning Organisation which has organised a full programme of events.
We are, however, still short of host families.
So if any reader can give board and lodging (one or two meals are taken care of by the Association) to one or more of our visitors, then please contact me on 01204 884842.
We can't offer any financial reward but having a foreign guest should be great fun, and all of them speak at least some English.
RONALD SCHWARZ,
BMCTA secretary.
