IT'S good to talk - that's the message from First North Western's top line management after they visited Preston train station to meet customers.
Managing director David Franks and six other managers are touring the region and making themselves open to anyone wishing to comment on any aspect of rail travel.
David said: "We're here to talk to our customers to find out from them how they feel about our services.
"From where I work, I only get to see the bigger picture while the passengers can tell us things in greater detail about their experiences.
"Today has been quite fruitful with people arriving with well-scripted issues and general queries as well.
"We have been asked about station facilities, concessions, the information we provide and the quality of timetables - I'd rather be talking about those things than late-running services.
"It shows we must be doing something right."
