ON Thursday, August 12 at 2.30pm, my mother collapsed on the car park at Morrisons supermarket.
I wish to thank all the shoppers who immediately offered assistance and showed such concern, also the staff of Morrisons, Dr Dickson and the very kind lady who knelt by my mother, comforting and reassuring her until the ambulance arrived.
We were very grateful for the prompt and efficient attention she received at Blackburn Royal Infirmary. She is now feeling much better.
We were overwhelmed by the caring attitude and kindness of the general public. To each one of you, a warm and sincere thank you.
