I AM pleased to learn that the Landau ban on Saturday nights during Blackpool Illuminations is to stay.
At least a little consideration is being given to the horses, though in my opinion not nearly enough.
While walking along the Prom the other day I could hardly believe my eyes.
A Landau was parked awaiting a fare with the horse standing right behind a taxi cab also waiting for a fare.
It does not need me to explain what the poor horse was going to suffer when the cab started up.
If Landaus are not going to be banned from the Promenade then in all fairness to the horses traffic should.
Clearly there is not enough room for both.
