A CHARITY concert in Tyldesley raised £1,060 for the intensive care unit at Hope Hospital.
The concert was staged as a thank you for saving the life of an Atherton woman.
Marjorie Sweatman, 57, spent 10 days in intensive care after complications set-in when she underwent a double hip replacement operation.
To thank the unit for saving their mum, daughters Wendy and Joanne organised the Conservative Club fund-raiser.
And Joanne, a professional singer, stage name Georgia, topped the bill, along with fellow pros Simon Crowther and Phil Unsworth.
Also on the night, attended by around 160 people, there was an auction and a raffle for a signed Bolton Wanderers football and a rugby ball.
Marjorie's husband, David, presented ICU nurses with a cheque on the night.
Joanne said: "We would like to thank everyone for attending.
"A special thanks also to the Unsworth family from Atherton, who helped with raffle prizes and the buffet, as did Margaret Alliband."
