ALL the games in Division One finished on the same score, but the most significant was Haslingden's heavy defeat of leaders Antley, who now share top spot with Globe A.
Great Harwood beat local rivals Rushton Street A to keep in touch, and have the advantage of a game in hand. At the bottom, Salesbury A are relegated, going down at Ribblesdale A but Whalley A could now survive after beating Rishton Con A.
In Division Two, Clitheroe Cricket won the top of the table clash with Clayton Garry to lead by five points, and Come and Welcome are back in the frame with a near maximum over Waddington A. Ribblesdale B look favourites for the drop, losing away to fellow strugglers Free Gardeners, while Hurst Green A and Coppice are not out of the woods yet.
The shock result in Division Three saw Burnley Road A end Globe B's 100 per cent home record, which allowed Sabden Black to extend their lead at the top after their win against bottom team Castle B. Sabden Red are doing all they can to avoid the drop by putting some good results together, but Castle A went down at Salesbury B to remain next to bottom. After ensuring promotion from Division Four last week, Leisure Hour B beat the Grange to clinch the title. Sydney Street's hopes of promotion took a nose-dive at Rishton Con B allowing Immanuel, with a great away win at Hurst Green B, needing six points from two games to be certain of playing in a higher division next season. The dubious honour of claiming the wooden spoon, is a two-horse race between Waddington B and Milnshaw Wanderers, who both suffered heavy home defeats to newcomers Oakhill and Mercer Park respectively.
