I AM very disappointed with the Rovers first three match performances.
They seemed short of punch up front and, against Huddersfield, they were very poor in defence. Broomes and Dailly looked very frail in the middle of defence. For the last and winning goal, all the defence went for the same ball and left the flanksman wide open - very poor organisation.
Up front it looks like Gallacher's best days are behind him while the now departed Davies continued to be a big disappointment. Although he had been trying harder, he still looked slow.
The good points were that, against Huddersfield, the flanks looked good while Carsley looked very good in midfield. In the first half, Flitcroft also showed some good touches.
I am afraid that if the attack does not buck up and the defence organised, Brian Kidd could be on his way, or become second in command with a new man in charge. Certainly a big improvement is needed if he is to keep his job. I am also worried about the amount of injuries the players get.
They seem to be injured consistently and take ages to recover. I hope they improve otherwise I can see another relegation fight around the corner.
