COMPANY League One saw sponsors side Marwill collect the number one spot after quite an enthralling final week finish -taking the league title by a two-point margin.

This outcome had seemed highly improbable until other teams faltered in the final game.

J A Foams had to settle for second spot after looking favourites to take the title.

SS Lucas cruised to victory in fine style with a five-point margin in League Two, with the best defence in this league. Runners-up were Huncoat who had to wait for the champions to dispose of their nearest pursuers to secure second spot.

The Veterans League saw a ding-dong battle between three teams, but eventual winners Jubilee had to beat third-placed Darwen Subs after Devinals had already won their final game and were waiting for Jubilee to slip up. The 1-0 Jubilee win was just what the doctor ordered for them to take the title, with Devinals having to settle for second place.

League One saw a change at the top after a slip-up by previous leaders Punch Hotel. A draw against bottom team Deepdale was unexpected, but deserved for Deepdale The draw gave Beechwood the advantage, and they stormed to an easy win to take the title. Not bad for a team who had lost four games.

Inter Asprilla ran away with League Four, and the only issue on the final day was for second spot. A win for ever-improving Real Ale Madrid saw them secure runners-up spot, and they could prove the team to beat next season. All other teams in the leagues will be hoping that next week's Cup competition will prove fruitful.
