A taxi driver was hit with a bottle and his windscreen was smashed in an early morning attack.
The driver picked up three men all with shaven heads in Accrington at 4am on Saturday and took them to Burnley.
One of them gave a false address and on arriving in Torver Close, off Cumbrian Way, started arguing over the fare in an attempt to incite the 43-year-old driver into a fight.
One of the men then hit him on the arm with the bottle. He then threw the bottle at the windscreen smashing the glass.
The driver quickly drove off and reported the attack. He was not seriously injured.
All three men are white. One is six feet tall and was wearing a yellow shirt and pale blue jeans. A second man is 5ft 2ins tall and was wearing a blue jumper and the third is 5ft 6ins tall with a broken front tooth.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or Burnley CID on 01282 425001.
