MILLENNIUM eve party animals in Blackburn and Darwen are to be provided with an A to Z guide of who is open and when on December 31.
Town hall bosses are contacting pubs, cafes, restaurants and nightclubs to ask them when and for how long they will be opening.
Full details will be provided of what is planned at each venue and a leaflet will then be produced and made available.
Blackburn with Darwen Council's millennium co-ordinator Carl Hutton said: "People want to know what is going on in their area and we hope this will be a definitive guide.
"Questionnaires will be posted out to pubs and cafes in the next few days."
"The information will be collected together and we hope to have the leaflet available by late November or early December."
Many pubs in Blackburn and Darwen have already made arrangements to have ticket-only events on millennium eve.
Although the Government has given pubs permission to open for 36 hours over the millennium period, running right through to breakfast time on January 1, many pubs in Blackburn say they will be closing their doors between 2 and 3am.
