A FULL programme of road racing is promised at Shadsworth Business Park on Bank Holiday Monday, August 30, using a one-and-a-half kilometre circuit with a finish line outside of the Hitec Plastics plant.
Starting at 9.30am there will be events to cover all BCF racing age groups from juniors upwards through all senior categories to veterans with the last race starting at 3pm.
The Lakes and Lancashire Division Criterium Championship will begin at 11.15am and a BCF Youth Challenge Trophy will be held between 12.30 and 2pm. Prizes will be presented by BCF president Brian Cookson of Whalley.
Apart from Shadsworth Business Centre, the events are supported by Science in Sport of Brockhall and Paul Hewitt Cycles of Leyland.
Entries for the events are welcome on the day from all categories of BCF members from juniors upwards and further information can be obtained from organiser Andrew Tabernacle on 01772 882477.
