THERE was little doubt as to who was the overall winner of the 10-mile time trial league of the North Lancashire Road Club for Wednesday evening events held on the Clitheroe course.
Fraser Snape of Read was a clear leader after an almost unbeatable series of performances since the first event was run off on May 12 this year. In the final weekly race Fraser was again a winner with his 22mins 38sec ride just short of one minute better than second-placed Dave Brown with 23mins 37secs. Paul Warrener of the Rossendale Road Club was third in 24mins 07secs, and NLRC member John Buxbaum fourth in 24mins 17secs.
