HOUSE buyer Aftab Aslam found a surprise in the loft - two British prime ministers!
He was renovating a house in Accrington Road, Blackburn when he discovered statues of Gladstone and Disraeli made from Accrington Nori brick. Now the 21-year-old, who lives in Granville Road and works as a clerk at Rectella in Blackburn, is trying to find out the history of the two statues.
He said: "They were just standing there in the loft! There were very dirty and I have had to clean them up but they are very impressive."
