LAST weekend's Devil's own Classic Rally saw Morecambe's David Marsden and Mike Garstang in a Cortina GT take second place behind the MGB Tourer of Keith Woodburn and John Thornley. Former MCC Chairman Fred Bent took Frank Davies to a place in the top 10 with clubmate Andrew Sanderson/Kevin Howarth in the avenger taking the best master's trophy on their first time out. The manoeuvrability tests included three in Nether Kellet Quarry, proved to be very popular with competitors, marshals and spectators as the cars dived between the natural and showed some amazing cornering techniques
