MOTORCYCLE racer Karl Moss from Dolphinholme arrived on the Isle of Man this week for the Manx Grand Prix and proceeded to blow away his previous best lap of 105 mph average with a blistering time of 110.40 mph average on what is basically a stock Suzuki GSXR 750. Last year Karl went to the Island in the newcomers class and away with fourth place against stiff opposition. But this year he is competing in the senior class and is yet again up at the pointed end of proceedings. When asked why the sudden improvement he replied the softer tyres and a better understanding of the intricacies of the 37 mile road circuit made all the difference.
