A PENDLE man was remanded in custody for a month by Bootle magistrates yesterday charged with conspiracy to supply heroin.
Abid Hussein, 29, of Reedyford Road, Nelson, appeared alongside two men from Liverpool charged with the same offence.
A fourth man, also from Liverpool, is charged with the same conspiracy and possession with intent to supply and possession.
All were remanded in custody until September 24, pending committal to crown court.
The men were arrested by officers from the Liverpool branch of the National Crime Squad after lengthy surveillance. A woman also arrested has been bailed pending further inquiries.
