STAN Ternent has offered to drive down the country to pick up Mark Robertson from the Australian Olympic training camp if that's what it takes to include him in the Clarets squad for Friday night's game against Bournemouth.
The Burnley boss managed to secure Robertson's release from the Olyroos' Watford base for yesterday's controversial defeat at Bristol Rovers.
The wing-back was used briefly as a second-half substitute before being withdrawn himself in a tactical reshuffle.
And Ternent would like to involve Robertson again for the visit of Bournemouth.
"I'm hoping we'll be able to get him back for Friday.
"They are playing at Southampton on Thursday so if I can do it I'll go down there and bring him back myself," said Ternent, who is hoping for further cooperation from Soccer Australia.
"They've done well for us but we also do well for the them, don't we?" he added.
Alan Lee was absent yesterday and also misses Friday's game after linking up with the Republic of Ireland under-21 squad. The striker is hoping to face Yugoslavia in a European Championship qualifier in Dublin tonight.
