BURNLEY Youth Theatre actors Kieran McLoughlin and Andrew Smith, 22, have become production bosses for the theatre's presentation of Willy Russell's classic tale Blood Brothers, opening at the Quarry Theatre on Wednesday.
They have taken charge of casting, directing, producing and designing the moving and ultimately tragic story of twin brothers in 1960s Liverpool.
The duo say they can guarantee audiences a thrilling and moving performance and an extra night has already been added for local secondary schools keen to see the show.
Blood Brothers runs each night from 7.30pm until Saturday September 4, tickets costing £3.50p and £2.50p. Next month, Kieran, 20, is heading off to Dartington in Devon to study Theatre Practice.
