Food News, with Amanda Killelea
FOODIES and fashion devotees alike will relish the news that another Feast of Fashion extravaganza is to be held this year.
Last year's event hosted by star chef Andrew Nutter and Sunday Best of Rawtenstall, the UK Fashion Retailer of the Year, at Horncliffe Mansion, Rawtenstall, attracted a host of celebrities and raised thousands of pounds for the NSPCC.
This year the exclusive food and fashion show is to be staged at the Stirk House Hotel, Gisburn on Tuesday, November 16.
Once again the night will feature a dinner exclusively designed and prepared by award-winning celebrity chef Andrew Nutter.
There will be a catwalk show of men's and ladies' designerwear by Sunday Best, with models including Russian international ice skaters Natalia Pestova and Alexei Kislitsyn.
Last year celebrity guests included Manchester United star Phil Neville and World Superbike Champion Carl Fogarty, who himself took to the catwalk modelling a cocktail dress to boost the charity coffers.
This year Top Gear presenter Steve Berry has already reserved his seat, as has Lady Waddington.
Among the prizes in the celebrity auction, guests will be able to bid for Nutter to cook a meal in their own home, or to join him in his kitchen.
The Feast of Fashion is being held in aid of the Cancer Research Campaign North West through the Ribble Valley Ladies' Luncheon Club.
Tickets are available for a minimum donation of £50 from Karen Weaving at Stirk House on 01200 445581.
