EX-PRESTON player Atul Sachdeva made his county debut for Leicestershire yesterday (September 1) - after Citizen Cricket correspondent John Richardson recommended him to them.
Atul, who played for Preston Cricket Club last season, was signed by Leicestershire as the season finished.
The Leicester University medical student replaced injured left-arm slow bowler Matthew Brinson to make his home debut at Grace Road against Kent.
His achievement is remarkable as he only starts playing cricket in June when his studies end.
