NONE of the suggested highfalutin' names for the new Lune Bridge reflects its actual purpose. Far from being the "people's bridge", this expensive monument will provide questionable benefits to only a tiny two-wheeled minority group who already enjoy the exclusive tax free use of a disproportionate area of the road surface in and around Lancaster. I, for one, shall call it the "Biker's bridge." Yours gridlocked and brassed off.
