AGRICULTURE minister Nick Brown could be on his way to the Ribble Valley to discuss the latest crisis to hit farming.
Peter Redpath, Conservative leader of Ribble Valley Council, decided to move a motion to invite Mr Brown after discussing the problems with Ribble Valley MP Nigel Evans.
Mr Evans said: "Everyone involved in farming in the Ribble Valley will want to make their feelings known to the minister.
"Farmers will want to question him about the shambles of the Milk Marque report, the ending of the calf processing scheme and why calves are selling for a fraction of the cost of feeding, tagging and transporting them to auction."
