THIS summer, living on Willow Street in Bury has been a truly horrid experience. Up to 20 teenagers congregate on the school field every evening until well past midnight, doing the usual things that teenagers do - swearing, shouting, drinking and sometimes smashing school windows.
Sure, Bury Metro security officers come out and have a word with the gangs, but that is all they do. Why can't there be on-the-spot fines for these brain-dead teenagers? After all, it is you and me, the taxpayer, who ends up paying for vandalism.
