WITH the Autumn Playbill just around the corner, St Joseph's Players are planning ahead.
Auditions for the 2000 pantomime 'Sleeping Beauty' will be held in the Leigh church presbytery on September 15 (7.30pm).
The script, written by director Doreen Johnson, is available to be read, and choreographer Angela Grime is already preparing her dancers.
If you wish to be part of the area's biggest panto - on stage or off it! - everyone is welcome.
Meanwhile, final touches are being put to the Neil Simon comedy 'The Odd Couple', which will be staged from September 21-24.
The moving wartime drama 'Accrington Pals' is scheduled for October.
Tickets for both plays are available from Boardman's, Bradshawgate, Leigh.
