PLATT Bridge youngsters have designed a Teenmeet-ing place of their own.
Their plans have gone on display to the public this week.
The area's young people were invited to help the council decide what to do with an under-used piece of land near the community centre, and 50 shared their ideas at a youth consultation day in February.
In July a smaller group met Coalfield Challenge representatives, youth workers and the council's play section and came up with a design which incorporated as many ideas as possible.
The final design includes shelters and picnic benches, an area for ball games, skateboard and bike ramps and a swing.
A display illustrating the proposals can be viewed in the community centre until September 17 during opening hours.
Coalfield Challenge representatives will be available for public questioning on September 13 between 4pm and 6pm.
