THE colourful annual Historical Fayre will brighten up Preston's Flag Market tomorrow and Saturday (September 3-4).
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the History
comes to
life... features traditional hand-made crafts and demonstrations.
Even stallholders will be donning traditional costumes.
And there will be free entertainment, such as pottery making, Punch and Judy, and the Lazy River Jazz Quartet.
High quality hand-made goods, such as pottery, jewellery, textile and salt dough crafts, silk and dried flowers, will be on sale.
Councillor Rose Kinsella, leisure services committee chairman, said: "The traditional fayre is now an established and popular event which attracts a large number of visitors.
"The craft demonstrations are a particular attraction and I am delighted that the borough council are able to provide this free entertainment to residents and visitors to the town."
The fun starts at 10am and runs until 5pm.
