A 30-years-old Hindley Green woman, housebound by the debilitating condition ME, is hoping to form a link with fellow sufferers.
Graduate Joanne Lally, of Atherton Road, wants fellow victims of the crippling Chronic Fatigue Syndrome to ring her in a bid to develop phone friendships.
Joanne, who is single, developed the condition after suffering a bout of glandular fever 10-years ago.
She has been unable to work for the past four years and is helped to cope by her parents who live nearby.
She says symptoms include chronic fatigue, muscle pain, head aches, concentration and noise intolerance problems.
Joanne said: "I have been writing to people in similar circumstances for quite a while, but it would be nice to be able to speak to people of a similar age.
"A lot of older people suffer, but I would love to see what response I get from 20 to 30 year olds. Then perhaps we can take communications a step further."
Joanne can be contacted on 516593.
