I HAVE put a list of 10 things together that would make my world a better place:
Major television stations would not show repeats at weekends and Christmas;
Junk mail would be abolished;
There would be no smoking in all hairdressers;
Preston's buses would give change;
Buses would stop to pick up passengers if it is near the bus stop and safe to do so;
All dentists would provide headphones and music for nervous patients;
Any teenagers who are repeatedly in trouble with the law would serve a minimum of two years in the army;
All washing powders would do what they say on the box;
All cashiers at post offices, banks and supermarkets would be fully operational all the time;
All doctor's surgeries where an appointments are necessary would have two nurses always available.
I wonder what 10 things other readers believe would make the world a better place in the 21st Century?
