POLICE are linking two burglaries which happened within just five minutes at Carr Barn Brow, Bamber Bridge.
Between 2.35am and 2.40am on Monday, August 16, a white man in his early thirties climbed through the open window of a 73-year-old woman's flat.
He threatened her with a three-inch bladed knife and said he would return if she told the police. He stole a few objects before making his escape.
Police believe he then broke into a 67-year-old man's flat where he stole ladies and gents watches.
He is 5ft 8ins, slim, with short brown hair, and wearing a dark top and trousers, pale jacket, white trainers, and white gloves.
A 14 -year-old girl and her friend were walking near the duck pond, in Marsh Way, Penwortham, at 2.30pm-3pm on Monday, August 16, when a naked man aged 18-25 performed an indecent act in front of them.
He is white, 5ft 10ins tall, athletic, with a pale complexion and short, light brown hair with long sideburns. He carried blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and jacket.
A nine-year-old girl was walking past the toilets in Hurst Grange Park, Hill Road, Penwortham, at around 2pm on Friday, August 6, when a man indecently exposed himself to her. He is white, in his late twenties, 5ft 10ins, slim, with brown hair, and wearing a grey bobble hat and long brown dirty raincoat.
A blue Ford Transit van, registration S84 NBV, which has the company name 'Insignia' on the side, was stolen from the Trichem Unit, in Ranglett Road, Walton Summit, at 4.30pm-4.50pm on Thursday, August 12.
The vehicle, valued at £16,000, was last seen between junctions eight and nine of the M61. Two men were seen acting suspiciously nearby. One is white, 5ft 9ins, aged 25-30, with short dark hair, and wearing a red shirt, dark pants and trainers.
A 16-year-old boy was threatened with an orange-handled knife by two youths who demanded cash from him as he waited for a bus in Preston Bus Station at 12.15pm-12.30pm on Monday, August 16.
The youths, who are both white, aged 17 and had scouse accents, stole cash from his wallet. One has a skinhead hairstyle and spots. His accomplice is 5ft 9ins, with dark curly hair and a wide nose. He wore a multi-coloured puffa jacket.
A 14-year-old boy was forced into giving up his BMX-style mountain bike when a youth threatened him with a rounders bat as he cycled through Haslam Park, in Blackpool Road, Ashton-on-Ribble, at around 9pm on Wednesday, August 18.
The robber - a white male aged 17, 5ft 9ins tall, with a scar through his right eyebrow, and wearing a black wool 'Thinsulate' hat and Adidas tracksuit - escaped with another youth on foot.
