THE headmaster at Skerton High School was overjoyed with this year's exam results.
Peter Doyle commented: "On all indicators, our results have exceeded the Local Education Authority's targets for the school.
"Many students have attained distinctions in their GNVQ studies, and high grades in their GCSE subjects and as a result have a bright future in further and higher education.
"The results reflect the conscientious effort and hard work of both pupils and staff, and I would like to congratulate all involved."
