A SUSPECT to a vicious assault on a disabled man is to take part in aN identification parade as police continue their search for four attackers.
A man has been arrested in connection with the assault on Martin Nolan, who is blind and has cerebral palsy. Mr Nolan suffered a black eye, bleeding gums and cuts and bruising when he was set upon by three men and a girl as he walked through Clarence Park in Bury on August 23.
The arrested man has has been bailed pending the ID parade which will take place next month.
It is believed Martin was punched in the face, knocked to the ground and kicked repeatedly in the cowardly attack.
The 25-year-old was taken to Bury General Hospital for treatment and was kept in overnight for observations.
