A sponsored four-mile walk in and around Newton-le-Willows has been planned for Sunday, September 12, as part of the Top Walks Challenge event, and organisers are hoping walkers will collect as many sponsors as possible.
The walk on Sunday, September 12, starts and finishes at Red Bank Community Home car park on Winwick Road, Newton, and follows a trail which passes the St Helens Canal and Burtonwood.
Anyone can take part and a free information pack is available by ringing 0870 1234445.
