A TEENAGER from Blackburn is treading the boards of the Library Theatre, Manchester.
Faye Roberts, of Park Farm Road, Feniscowles, has been playing a part in the Manchester Youth Theatre's production of Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale.
Faye, 17, a former pupil of St Wilfrid's High School, Blackburn, is studying for A-Levels in theatre studies, performing arts, dance and media studies at Blackburn College.
Her mum, Susan Walsh, said: "She doesn't have a big part this time because she has nodules on her vocal cords.
"They did offer her a bigger part but she didn't want it because of the nodules. She has seen a consultant and it is going to be sorted.
"I went to see the show on Saturday and I was very impressed that young people could put on such a good production."
