I COULD not believe my eyes when, on a recent visit with a friend, I saw the dilapidated state of the Great Barn at Hurstwood.
We chatted to a local who told us the good news - there is to be a tea room opening shortly. We can have the facility for a cuppa - whatever the weather.
Good move, this, but right opposite where the tea rooms are to be is this monstrosity of a building.
We were told the owner cannot get the go-ahead for her future plans. The building is obviously in great danger of falling down by the look of the roof.
Come on you people in power, do the obvious.
