Christmas will come early for unemployed people in Burnley when local stores offer a bonanza of holiday jobs at a special recruitment drive on Saturday.
Burnley Job Centre will be the venue from 9am to 1pm when major stores including Argos, Boots, Curry's and Electronics Boutique will advertise vacancies for festive jobs.
Job Centre manager Denise Duffy said: "We hope to have a big turnout and give an early Christmas present to many jobseekers in the town."
Assistant supervisor for Boots Lynn Lockett said: "We were very impressed with the Jobcentre's involvement in out recent recruitment campaign and we are delighted to team up with them again to fill the broad selection of seasonal vacancies we now have to offer."
Refreshments will be served.
