RESIDENTS in Blackburn and Lower Darwen are invited to call in at North West Water's mobile visitor centre to find out about a £3.1 million mains replacement project.
The centre will be at the Manxman Arms pub, Sunnybank Road, Longshaw, on Friday, September 17 with details of the scheme to improve water supplies to more than 16,000 properties in the Nova Scotia area.
About 26 kilometres of worn out main are being replaced in a project starting around the end of September and continuing for 17 months.
It is part of North West Water's £525 million investment in water and waste water projects across the region this year, £80 million of it in Lancashire.
