A TILL operator at a Burnley shop was terrified when two masked men entered and threatened her with a knife.
The two robbers at Heald's Day and Nite, Colne Road, Duke Bar, got away with a small amount of cash.
Although the woman was not hurt she was left shaken by the incident which happened shortly after 8.30pm last night.
A girl customer was also shocked by the attack.
DC Tony Woodworth said: "It was a violent attack on someone in a vulnerable position.''
After snatching money from the till the two men who were in black woollen balaclava masks ran off towards Rylands Street on the Briercliffe Road side of Colne Road.
They are both about 5ft 10in. One is of medium build and the other is described as skinny and both were wearing dark clothing.
