I WOULD like to tell the people of Bury what a marvellous maternity service they have.
I gave birth to my first child on July 15 at Fairfield General. It was a difficult birth, but the doctors and midwives helped me to feel safe. The staff were warm and friendly and they seemed to genuinely care for my baby and I.
The community midwives from Bury South team were excellent - always there to give me advice and reassurance when the situation felt overwhelming. They were brilliant. Thanks very much to Bury maternity services.
LINDSEY IQBAL,
Radcliffe.
