MP Ivan Lewis has told the world of high finance the frank truth about the realities of life in Parliament.
He chaired a seminar and addressed senior executives from Lloyds of London, the Stock Exchange and the Bank of England.
The conference was organised by the Industry and Parliament Trust, with whom the Bury South MP is improving his knowledge of the business world through a 25-day fellowship with big City institutions.
The IPT is a non-partisan, non-lobbying educational charity set up 20 years ago to boost understanding between MPs and those from the world of commerce. The trust has now been copied by 11 countries.
