A HAT-trick of wins marked the opening day of the season for the girls section of PNE.
And for the under 14s, emphatic is the only word which can described their 10-0 beating of Morecambe.
The under 16s recorded a comfortable 5-1 away win at Hopwood, with the visitors taking the lead in the opening minutes as Katie Eastwood capitalised on a defensive error.
Nearly half an hour later PNE doubled their lead when Jo Ball converted a great cross from Eastwood.
PNE finished off the contest five minutes after half time when Natalie Brewer scored, followed by Ball's second.
Girl of the game Christy Bilsborrow capped a great performance with a crisp right foot shot to give PNE their fifth, which was followed by a consolation shot for Hopwood.
The under 12s had Bolton on the ropes, winning 6-2 away from home.
It was pressure from the word go for PNE, and it soon paid off as Niamh O'Grady scored with the follow-up to Claire Worcester's shot which had hit the crossbar.
Amy Summer went on to score a hat-trick while Adele Cryer netted another two - before half time!
Bolton came back out fighting, but only managed to breach the North End defence twice.
