ALTERNATIVE rockers Spade 55, whose influences include The Velvet Underground and Nick Drake, play The Witchwood, Ashton-under-Lyne, on Friday.
The Chorley four-piece comprises Chris Haworth, 18, on vocals and guitar, brother Mike, 16, on guitar and piano, Nick Fothergill, 18, on bass and 18-year-old percussionist Daniel Gardner.
The band recently made their second recording at a Blackburn studio. Entry to the gig is £1 before 10pm, or £2 after.
