EAST Lancashire's Superbikes star Carl Fogarty goes too fast for superlatives to catch up with him. For he is the best-ever by miles - world champion for a record fourth time!
More than that, at 33, he's determined to do it all over again next year.
What a star! What a hero!
But why is it that the national media underrates both this sport and its awesome champ? It is hard to think of another sport that draws crowds of the size that it does and impossible to think of another sportsman who could take 30,000 British fans abroad with him as Foggy did in Germany.
Can you get bigger or better than that?
We are truly proud of you, Carl.
